Plan to finalise Muon Analysis

Summary

What else need to do, in order to obtain working pipeline on optical throughput by muons (format start-end date):

  1. Use Cases (UC)

    • Check all UC related to optical throughput by muons: (13 December 2023)
      • Update UC 120-2.1 to the final state
      • Update UC 120-2.2 to the final state
  2. Requirements level-B (18-19 December 2023)

    • Check and summarise the latest actual level-B requirements regarding muons
    • Decide what part should be done by CalibPipe
  3. Requirements level-C (20-21 December 2023)

    • Check the consistency of existing level-C requirements to level-B requirements
    • Propose new level-C requirements / Update existing
    • Check compliance with Use Cases
    • Final minor changes in the related Use Cases regarding new functionality
  4. Requirements verification statements (21-22 December 2023)

    • Write statements on how to verify level-C requirements
  5. Data and metadata model (2-12 January 2024)

    • Create a final version of data model for calibration results which should be stored in DB. (3-4 January 2024)
    • Create a metadata model scheme, that should fully describe all calibration data. (10-11 January 2024)
    • Agreement and approvement of these models (12 January 2024)
  6. Work on the code (20 January - 23 February 2024)

    • Update existing code to be consistent with the latest versions of Use Cases. (20 Jan - 7 Feb)
      • Finalise proper database integration. (20-24 January 2024)
      • Add correct handling of log and error messages (25-26 January 2024)
      • Implement additional quality cuts on muons to maximise the accuracy of the algorithm (26-27 January 2024)
      • Add new functionality regarding latest level-B 37xx requirements on muon precise parameters (28 Jan - 5 Feb 2024)
    • Test how the muon calibration pipeline works with all types of telescopes. (6-13 February 2024)
    • Test how the muon calibration pipeline stores required data and metadata in DB. (14-15 February 2024)
    • Final code refactoring and fine tuning (16-23 February 2024)
  7. API Documentation (19-20 February 2024)

    • Check and update the appropriate documentation
  8. Workflow model (21-23 February 2024)

    • Create workflows to describe the muon calibration pipeline
  9. Perform the final tests of all the components (26-29 (thanks God its Leap Year) February 2024)
