Exploring ECMWF data

Summary

Currently, for the molecular and refractive indices profiles we use data from GDAS. We would like to explore also ECMWF data.

• Register to ECMWF (done)
• Explore available datasets and figure out which ones might be useful
• Inquire about the possibility of free access to real time data for only 2 grid points (Is it really us the ones who should that?)
• Install and familiarize with ecmwf api client
• Download a sample of historical data
  • can we process them with the same workflow as the GDAS data?
